NMB48 2nd Single Title, Tracklist and Small Covers Released

Very small for NMB48's 2nd single have been released on the Tower Records website. The title was also released, which is: Oh My God! The title and the covers make it seem like a very happy, genki, song.

My 1st copy of Morning Musume's 47th Single came in today! (My Ai-chan copy is coming later) So today in my excitement I will show my small idol collection, which I was planning on doing someday anyway.

Nogizakatte, Doko? Starts October 2nd

AKB48's rival group, Nogizaka46 will have their TV debut with their very own show titled Nokizakatte, Doko?

The main purpose of the show is to highlight each individual members' personalities, as well as their abilities as singers, dancers, and actors/performers.

On October 2nd, Nogizakatte, Doko? will begin its broadcast on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Hoso.

Indonesia's JKT48 to Debut Later This Year

The OOO48 concept is indeed spreading across the globe as Jakarta, Indonesia will be holding auditions for JKT48. The final screening for auditions will be held in mid-October and those who pass this final stage will move on to training and will become the 1st generation of JKT48 who will debut later this year.

Earlier today, former Morning Musume member Kago Ai was rushed to the hospital after being found on the floor in her apartment after slitting her wrists. She was quickly treated and is not in any danger.

S/mileage sub-member Kosuga Fukuya has announced that she is leaving the group immediately due to severe anemia. She will go through a long recovery period and will join Hello! Project Eggs when she recovers.

NMB48 2nd Single Senbatsu Change

In a previous post, I mentioned that NMB48 Team N member Yoshida Akari volunteered to suspend herself and that she would be given up her senbatsu position for the 2nd single, but that is not the only change to the line up.

NMB48 Suspends 2 More Members

NMB48 has 2 more members that have volunteered themselves for suspension. Team N members Yoshida Akari and Matsuda Shiori have both asked to be suspended for an unknown amount of time. Neither will participate in NMB's upcoming single, Yoshida is giving up her senbatsu position for the single.

Mano Erina cast in Ikemen Desu ne

Mano Erina has been cast in the play adaptation of the Korean Drama Ikemen Desu ne (You're Beautiful).

She will be playing the role of NANA, the same role that AKB48 member Kojima Haruna currently plays in the Japanese tv adaptation and also by After School member UEE in the original Korean version.

The play will show in Tokyo from October 8th to the 20th, in Kanagawa from October 24th to November 2nd, in Osaka from November 6th to the 9th, and in Fukuoka from November 24th to the 27th.

All Mobekimasu artists (Momusu, Berryz Kobo, C-ute, Mano Erina, S/mileage) will release a collaboration single titled, Busu ni Naranai Tetsugaku, which will be released on November 16th.
