Mori Anna was "discovered" to still have feelings for and still keeping in touch with a previous boyfriend she had before joining AKB on her personal blog, however, she has chosen to immediately resign from the group herself due to lower back problems. Producer Akimoto Yasushi has already said that she may re-enter the group if and when she is ready.
Team 4 captain Oba Mina's situation was much worse. On her personal blog she seemed to be bragging about having a previous boyfriend, as well as underage drinking and Enjo Kosai (compensated or paid dating, basically child prostitution). She also claimed that Team K member Nito Moeno also had a boyfriend while a member of Team B.
As a result, Minarun has voluntarily suspended herself from all activities and has resigned as Team 4's captain. It is unclear how long her suspension will be for, but she will not participate in the Janken Tournament later this month.
The compensated dating must have been proven false, if it was true she would have been more than just suspended.
NMB48 2nd generation kenkyuusei member Shimada Rena was seen in old photos with a boyfriend she had before joining NMB. At first these pictures seemed to be harmless since things were over before she joined, but over-obsessed fans would not leave the situation alone.
Shimada has also voluntarily suspended herself and will stop all activities for the rest of 2011.
For Mori Anna I wish her a fast and safe recovery and hope that she does return to the idol world soon. Her situation was pretty harmless. As well as Shimada Rena, I wish her the best as well in what 2012 has to offer her.
To Oba Mina, I say that she should have been more careful in what information she decided to put online, especially if you are becoming part of the public eye, but thats a lesson in life we all have to learn.
