Taking the spot left open by Oku Manami, we have 11th Generation kenkyuusei member Suzuki Shiori!
Suzuki was originally a member of AKB48 as a 7th generation kenkyuusei. She was first promoted to Team B during the team shuffles in 2009, but left shortly before the new team's debut, saying that she did not feel ready to become a full-time member. She rejoined AKB48 in late 2010 as a 11th gen kenkyuusei.
It seems fair that Suzuki would be promoted to Team B because she already was promoted two years ago, but it still seems weird that she was the one promoted seeing as how there are still the nine kenkyuusei in limbo. (see post here.)
Either way, congratulations to Shiori on her promotion! We all wish you the best of luck in the future!

As you all know, Oku Manami graduated from AKB48's Team B early last month. As you also know, there are currently 9 research students waiting in limbo to be promoted to teams. With this new space open, I ask this question: which one (if any) will become the newest Team B member?
